Party planning is so much fun. If you are enthusiastic and have the patience you can go all out and plan something different. You can organise a theme party for your 4 year old, a sports party for your husband or just treat your girlfriends to a pamper party! Here are a few tips to make sure your party is the talk of the town. While planning a party the first thing to consider is the occasion. For example, a birthday party is different from a hen’s party! The things you need and the ideas you have will quite obviously, be different for both.
• Where are you planning to have the party? If you are thinking of a venue like a club or banquet hall then you must consider the availability of the venue, rent of the place, seating capacity and what time you need to wind up. Some venues have their in house caterer or tie – ups with other caterers so look into that as well, you also need to find out about corkage on alcohol.
• If you are thinking of having the party at home, make sure the space is big enough the fit all your guests. Inform your neighbours about the party so that they have no objection to the music and sound. If you have troublesome neighbours, invite them as well! It’s an age old trick!
• Think of the food you are going to serve. If you are looking at elaborate seven course meal then you will need some help for sure. A kid’s party doesn’t need an elaborate menu but you can try fun things like sandwiches and muffins! If you are hosting a sports or poker party all you need is easy finger food and beer!
• Invite your guests well in advance and give them a reminder a before the party. If you are sending out invites make sure you address them carefully and post them well in advance so they reach your guests in time. Include RSVP cards so you have a proper head count.
• Music is an important part of any event so compile a good playlist or hire a good DJ if the budget allows it. Good music is the key to a great party.
• If you want to try something different you can opt for a pamper party. Where you can chill out at home with the girls and have a great spa day. If your teenager is having a party for her friends suggest a pamper party for her friends and her. They can dress up, model and have a great party.

Billy, you’re a Blessed man.
The other day, I told my husband that I wanted to hear those three little words I haven’t heard in a long time. He said, “Honey, you know I love you.” I said, “No, no, not that.” The three words I’m longing to hear are “Need some help?”
One of my favorites…great song to sing at parties.
cara tento entender..o rock em si é hoje uma piada…não se fazem musica como antigamente Elvis é o exemplo claro que rock pertence ao passado pq hoje em dia tudo é copia dos sucessos do passado..é a pura verdade sem maldade

His child needs a MOM and I can help!

@chkjns I’ve been on your pages MANY times and spent many hours there…Can’t get enough Percy Faith or Ray Connif…Thanks for the invite!
@PutOnASweater – I first came across Skip’s name in a glowing tribute to Les Baxter & he was kind enough to trade a few messages with me, too.
A very minor musician myself, I have the same interest in music that he does & have built a channel to demonstrate that – 450 public playlists averaging 2 hours each for 300+ artists, several genres & instruments and a list for every year since 1900, so you can listen like you’ve stepped back in time.
Worldwide in scope, the best music you’ve never heard!
i am 14 years old and i love this song. i’m so used to listening to hip-hop and rap and rock, but i still love old country. no affence to anyone who takes affence to that ^_^

I remember this song from way back. Most guys today, when they find out you’re a single Mom, they’re not saying “I can help”; they’re running down the streets screaming, “OH HELL NOOOOOOOOO!” lol.
sehr sehr gut !! 100 % =)
El autor es tan grande, que con una sola canción es el que más ha dicho en el pop mundial. Saludos.
The guitarist with Billy is Skip Heller….a walking encyclopedia of music, EVERY kind of music. Be it Rock & Roll, Rockabilly, Blues or Klezmer, this guy knows it all. I have called on him Many times for various projects..he has worked with vaious artists in varied fields…. Rockabilly artists as well as Chris Montez, Ima Sumack, Les Baxter and some of the top Klezmer artists in the world..a great guy and VERY passionate about music.
Why would you compare Billy Swan to Elvis? That makes no sense.
